Visang announced on the 26th that it has signed a five-year exclusive supply agreement for its English learning program, 'Challenge,' with an education company in Paraguay.

'Challenge' is an immersive program that applies Mixed Reality (MR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies to enhance students' engagement in learning. This agreement follows the successful outcome of a previous deal in 2019 for the English learning program 'englisheye.'

Through this agreement, Visang plans to expand digital English learning access in Paraguay by providing ‘Challenge,’ following the successful supply of 'englisheye' to the country.

Previously, a four-month pilot program was conducted in Paraguay with local educational institutions, confirming the educational effectiveness of the 'Challenge' program.

The pilot program was carried out at public schools, Colegio El Redentor and Colegio CIE, in Paraguay. Subsequently, a research paper validating the effectiveness of English learning using 'Challenge' was published in the Paraguayan multilingual research journal, 'Ñemitỹrã: Revista Multilingüe de Lengua, Sociedad y Educación.'

According to the study, all learner groups who used 'Challenge' showed statistically significant improvements in listening, speaking, and phonics, along with overall English proficiency.

In particular, the MR-based interactive content provided students with immersive learning experiences that significantly contributed to improving their English skills. By offering a gamified learning environment, it increased engagement and helped improve learning outcomes through sensory experiences that facilitated language acquisition.

Rho Joong-il, CEO of Visang Global Company, said, “Visang provides various digital learning solutions tailored to different IT infrastructure levels across countries. We are excited to introduce ‘Challenge’ to regions with limited educational infrastructure, as it can be utilized even in areas with fewer educational resources. Challenge requires only a digital whiteboard or a PC with a webcam, which we expect will expand access to digital education for students who have been previously excluded from these opportunities.”

Meanwhile, Visang is preparing to sign a Challenge agreement with a Thai company. Visang is committed to expanding its international business by providing solutions that suit the educational environment of each country, based on its diverse EdTech products. This year, Visang plans to focus on Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region to find new partners and strengthen its position in the global EdTech market.
