Visang announced on December 12 that it has signed a supply agreement with Nepal’s study abroad consultancy, Pathshala Hub, to provide its Korean language education platform, master k. With this agreement, master k is entering the Nepalese market for the first time, expanding its presence to a total of 14 countries through platform and textbook licensing agreements.

Pathshala Hub is a study abroad consultancy that provides services to Nepalese students seeking international education opportunities. Through this partnership, Visang aims to offer Korean language education tailored for students aspiring to study in Korea as well as job seekers preparing for employment.

According to the Ministry of Employment and Labor, Nepal ranked first among foreign labor forces in South Korea in 2024, with a total of 47,710 workers. Additionally, the Ministry of Justice reported that Nepal ranked seventh in the number of international students in Korea in 2023, with 45,038 students. Despite the growing demand for Korean language education in Nepal, a shortage of qualified teachers and educational infrastructure has led to an insufficient supply.

Visang will support Pathshala Hub in transitioning from offline classes taught by local instructors to online courses delivered directly by Korean instructors via master k. master k is an advanced education platform equipped with video conferencing, a learning management system (LMS), and AI Speak 2.0. It enables high-quality Korean language education across online, offline, and hybrid learning environments. Through this agreement, Visang aims to help address the shortage of Korean language educators in Nepal.

master k has been widely recognized for its innovation in EdTech, receiving multiple prestigious awards both domestically and internationally. In 2024, it won the Gold Prize at the "2024 AES KOREA AWARDS", the "2024 Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy Award" for Contribution to the Integrated Advancement of Knowledge Service Industry, and the "2024 Ministry of Science and ICT Award" in the Content Platform Category at the 24th Korea Digital Management Innovation Awards. master k has also been named a finalist for the 2025 Bett Awards.

Rho Joong-il, CEO of Visang Global Company, stated, “To address Korea’s low birth rate and aging population, attracting international students and foreign workers is essential. master k is rapidly expanding across multiple countries, providing education to both students and workers,” he said. “We will continue to collaborate with institutions worldwide that require Korean language education, enhancing our content and AI-driven technologies to solidify master k’s role as the leading Korean language education platform for international students and workers.”
