Visang Education announced on the 24th that it won three awards at the Edutech Korea Fair 2024, held at COEX in Seoul on the 23rd.
 
Yang Tae-hoe, CEO of Visang Education, received the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy Award in the 2024 Knowledge Service Industry Convergence Development Contributors Awards. This recognition was awarded for the company’s contribution to the globalization of Korean language education and the expansion of Korean soft power. The success of Visang Education’s Korean language education platform, Master K, played a key role in the evaluation.
 
Visang Education has been meeting the surging global demand for Korean language learning by supplying Master K to 12 countries. Through collaborative projects with KOICA, the company has contributed to expanding Korean language education infrastructure in various countries, including Vietnam, establishing a pioneering public-private partnership model. Master K also won the Gold Award at the 2024 AES Korea Awards. The platform integrates various features such as video conferencing solutions and an AI-based learning system, enabling learners to access high-quality Korean language education in any environment. The platform's innovative AI pronunciation correction service, AI Speak, allows foreign learners to refine their Korean pronunciation anytime, anywhere.
 
The tablet-based app Gichul Tap Tap, which provides comprehensive learning resources for high school exam questions, won the Grand Prize in the 9th E-learning and Edutech Business Model Contest, organized by the Korea Edutech Industry Association. The app was highly rated for its contribution to the education industry, originality, business potential, and feasibility, as it delivers tailored educational services.
 
Gichul Tap Tap offers personalized learning experiences by analyzing students' weaknesses through past exam questions, helping them effectively prepare for school exams and the national college entrance exam. Currently used in over 40 digital-leading schools, the app is well-received by teachers and students alike, thanks to its updated recommendation system for study materials specifically designed for internal assessments.
